BIOGRAPHY

The firm’s managing partner, Mr. Christopher W. Wadsworth, is an AV rated experienced trial lawyer in the areas of insurance defense litigation on both the state and federal levels. He has extensive experience in trying medical malpractice, personal injury (trucking accidents, auto negligence, premise liability), product liability, construction defects, negligent security and first party insurance defense cases (UM/UIM, bad faith, PIP, coverage).

 

Mr. Wadsworth graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice and a minor in Russian. After graduating college and before attending law school he served in the United States Navy for approximately six (6) years. While in the Navy his duty stations included NAVSPECWARCEN Coronado California wherein he attended BASUNDDEM/SEAL training; NAVDIVSALVTRANCEN Panama City Florida wherein he attended Navy E.O.D. diver training and finally he was stationed with EOD Mobile Unit 6 Detachment Mayport Florida. While in the Navy he received a letter of commendation and a letter of congratulations from his commanding officer.

 

He received his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Miami, Cum Laude, where he was a member of the Deans List, a Mock Trial Finalist, a Moot Court Optional Round Finalist, and a member of Phi Delta Phi (Honor Fraternity). After leaving the prosecutor’s office Mr. Wadsworth focused his career exclusively in the area of insurance defense and civil trial work including auto negligence, trucking negligence, premises liability, medical malpractice, products liability, construction defects, and insurance coverage cases.

He is admitted to the Florida Bar, the United States District Court of the Southern, Middle, and Northern Districts of Florida as well as the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals. Mr. Wadsworth is a Supreme Court Certified Circuit Court mediator. He is a member of the Strathmore’s Who’s Who, Palm Beach County Bar Association, American Bar Association (Tort Insurance Law Section), Association of Trial Lawyers of America (ATLA), the American Legion, Dade County Chamber of Commerce and the Dade County Bar Association. Christopher has attended the intensive trial program offered by the National Institute of Trial Advocacy and has been a lecturer on various legal topics presented to several insurance companies and organizations.
