Daniel L. Margrey

BIOGRAPHY

Daniel L. Margrey is a partner in the firm’s Fort Lauderdale, Florida office. Daniel’s areas of practice include general civil litigation, concentrating in the areas of insurance defense litigation, insurance coverage litigation, and personal injury protection litigation, including; bodily injury, property damage, and workers’ compensation. Daniel has focused his career on insurance defense litigation from the beginning and has experience working for statewide AV’ rated firms as well as in-house counsel for a Fortune 500 insurance company.

Daniel earned his Juris Doctorate from St. Thomas University School of Law. He received various academic awards including Dean’s List and the West Law Corpus Juris Secundum Award in both Real Property and Antitrust. He was an active member of the Phi Delta Phi Legal Honor Fraternity and the Entertainment and Sports Law Society. Daniel also attended the William & Mary School of Law where he studied abroad in England. Prior to law school, Daniel earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Florida where he majored in English. While at the University of Florida, he was a member of Theta Chi Fraternity and held the position of Assistant Rush Chairman. He was an active participant in intramural athletics.

Daniel is admitted to practice in all State Courts of Florida. He is an active member of the Florida Bar and is a member of the Florida Bar’s Workers’ Compensation Section.
